Please keep coming back to and updating it. Greenpass. This page may not be done in a while - or ever, until the game that this page is related to has been beaten. The Last of Us but actually only the theme music by the same name, I don't think the rest holds up out of context (it works ingame though)įuri (I only feel confident as you mentioned subnautica too, this one has both ambient and EDM, with great build ups)ĭeus Ex: Human Revolution (a tad better, than Mankind Divided) And I was actually a Zerg player so I'm not even supposed to like what the terran scum are listening to. Especially Heaven's Devils which is a treausre. Starcraft 2 - Terran side tracks are awesome. ok ok hear me out, this was made by THE Hans Zimmer, it even sounds somewhat similar to the likes of Black Hawk Down, yet more game-y?! check it out Portal 2 has nice electronic ambient (like 9999999), though I'd say they are best suited to actually play the game as they use a very clever layered mechanic, where music gets more intense as you are getting closer to the puzzle solutionĬall of Duty 2 Modern Warfare.

Halo (1-3 and ODST all have really good ones by Martin O'Donnell and Michael Salvatori) On a per game basis here are the ones I would recommend (and also listen to in my soundtrack playlist:P):īastion (and other music by Darren Korb too I guess)Īssassin's creed (especially the township compositions, like Rome or Venice) by the London Philharmonic Orchestra, they made a great selection of notable soundtracks and their sound is superb. As a collection I'd recommend The Greatest Video Games Music I and II.
